Is my deposit safe if the solar company goes bust?

Yes. Your deposit is protected by IWA from the day you pay it, so it is safe even if we stopped trading before your install.

How much deposit do I pay for solar panels?

Usually 25% to book your install. The exact deposit, and when the rest is due, are on your quote in writing.

What does the workmanship warranty cover?

Our own work, for 5 years: fixings, roof work, cabling, connections and set-up. If something we did is not right, the team that fitted it comes back.

How long do solar panel warranties last?

The panels we fit carry a maker’s power output warranty of 25 years or more, and batteries and inverters 10 years. Your quote names the exact model.

Who do I call if my solar or battery stops working?

Us. We find the fault, raise any warranty claim with the maker for you, and put our own work right.

Do I need DNO approval for solar panels?

Yes, and we apply for you. We may ask for a photo of your meter and fuse board. That is all you do.
